West Portal, San Francisco

Set in San Francisco’s West Portal neighborhood, this Spanish Mediterranean home was reimagined for a young family with four children under ten. The design needed to balance beauty with durability - layered enough to feel inviting, yet effortless enough for everyday life with young kids. 

From the rainbow-hued bookshelf that anchors the living room to the gallery of maps that trace the family’s travels across the years, color becomes a storyteller. Soft arches, sunlit rooms, and tactile materials bring warmth and flow to the home, while every hue appears with intention - through art, textiles, and collected pieces that reflect the family’s story. 

The result is a home that feels easy, personal, and deeply lived in, where design supports the rhythm of family life without ever sacrificing style.
